People aren’t born with hate in their hearts. This is something people learn. I believe hate develops when people live in a state of fear and ignorance. The answer really can be simple: Replace the fear with love and the ignorance with knowledge.
As an American Jewish woman, we stand by you. The Jewish people have long suffered the warrantless consequences of hatred and discrimination for our religion. I respect your religion and your right to practice it in all ways that spread the authentic spirit of a God who loves all people and respects life and all creatures of earth. miriam

The history of Jewish people teaches us that hate and fear are unethical, immmoral and can lead to great physical and mental harm being done to the intended victims. We must get to know each other and not fear each other. What the Republican Jewish Coalition, Clarion, and other unknown individuals and groups are doing to help Senator McCain win the election is unethical and immoral and can lead to physical attacks against Arabs, Muslims and African Americans. There is nothing wrong with being Arab or Muslim or African American. When Senator Obama is accused of being Arab or Muslim, it sends a message that being Arab or Muslim is bad.

This comes from a non-Jew, that closely tries to follow the causes of JVP, and Avaaz. I stand by all these fine people, who have come together for this cause. Let us raise voices against demonization of peoples. There should be no ‘us vs. them’, there should be all of ‘us’…
Kind regards,
